- 3 bananas ripe yet firm bananas sliced into 1/8-inch-thick round
- 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar or sugar substitute
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon for flavor
- 1 ts lemon juice to prevent browning
Peel and Slice the Bananas
Peel the bananas and slice them into thin rounds (about 1/8 inch thick) for even cooking.
Toss the banana slices in lemon juice to prevent browning.
Lightly coat the banana slices with olive oil, then sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C) for 2-3 minutes.
Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through for even crispness.
Remove the banana chips from the air fryer and place them on a wire rack to cool.
As they cool, they will become even crispier. Enjoy!
